This exhibition confronts six diverse positions in figurative painting located somewhere between the fictional, real and virtual, each dealing differently with the compression of the pictoral world.
One common thread is a medially imbued world view, though articulated quite differently: from faintly arising representationalism to new-found irrealities, invented realities and simulated illusory worlds culminating in threateningly irreal hyperrealism; half constructed, half dream.
